The empty Heart

 My work is a visual diary — a personal history shaped by what I know, what I’ve lived, and what I feel. I don’t create (paint/ photograph) anything that isn’t connected to me in some way. Of all the possible subjects, I’m drawn to the ones I can get close enough to in order to create them honestly with heart.


also, i have learnt - Art teaches us how to feel. It expands our emotional range and deepens our capacity for sensation. Through making these artworks, I engage more fully with life. I notice more. I feel more.



My practice is a way of understanding the world from the inside out — not as an observer, but as a participant. Each piece is a trace of where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, and how it moved me.

MEN IN MASKS SERIES - questioning masculinity, performance, and the social gaze.

 Mask Series - Through this act of covering, I search for what is revealed in what is hidden. The mask becomes both shield and mirror—protecting identity even as it exposes its fragility. The painted surface breathes new life into the photograph, where tradition and modernity quietly wrestle for space. In the Mask Series, I explore the complex interplay between identity, tradition, and concealment through the use of Dristibomai masks—traditional ritual objects reimagined as face coverings for contemporary male figures. Each work in the series begins with a photograph, over which I hand-paint, merging the tactile with the digital to create layered narratives. The act of masking transforms the men into ambiguous, anonymous beings—simultaneously powerful and vulnerable.
